This study is the first to estimate the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) among children aged 8-10 in Georgia, revealing a rate of 4.25%. Males were diagnosed 4 times more frequently than females. The findings highlight the urgent need for early identification, diagnosis, and treatment of ASD, suggesting that resource allocation and enhanced professional training are critical to address this high prevalence.
