What is it about?
The laminated plate has been modeled using higher-order shear deformation theory. The effect of different parameters on the structural responses are analysed in this study. It is also worthy to mention that the structural deformation due to thermal load has been included in Green's strain relation.

Why is it important?
Most of the work which are presented till yet has been modeled using von-Karman strain which is unable to consider the geometrical distortion exactly. It is also true that for large deformation regime the thin laminated structures may not follow the monotonous behaviour. Hence it is necessary to model exactly and based on this idea the present article has been prepared.
