What is it about?
This paper explain a methodology for accounting the partial supersonic turbine losses, in order to introduce a useful relation for turbine efficiency.

Why is it important?
Supersonic partially admitted turbines are used in upper stage engines; so it is important to calculate the turbine performance precisely. It is clear that for a space mission, extra mass calculation has a great penalty.
