What is it about?
For obtaining the first desing of an airplane, the initial procedure relies on obtaining geometrical and weight information for existing airplanes and extracting estatistical correlations for the main variables. In this paper, new and actual correlations are included, focused especially in the geometrical parameters of the rear-end of the airplane.

Why is it important?
It is relevant because the great amount of actual data and due to the criteria used to select the most appropriate correlation for the new design in terms of especial features of the generak arrangement of the airplanes.
Perspectives
From my point of view, it is important to dispose of actual data of existing aircraft as well as good methods for the conceptual desing in order to help designers to take the correct decissions.
