What is it about?

Chapter 6 considers how the organization will likely need to respond to Disruption and AI in terms of strategy formation and monitoring, organizational structures and processes, market dynamics, staffing requirements and changes, not to mention customer service. The changes ahead are fast paced and transformational - something that cannot just be ignored by managers or leaders.

Why is it important?

Disruption with its fast pace, its uncertainty will challenge managers like never before - the book reviews each of the issues with critical thought to enlighten the new and experienced manager that is seeking to be on top of the emerging modern concepts. Organizations that want to stay ahead or gain advantage will be seeking the ideas and concepts for use in Disruption and AI that this book critically pursues.

Perspectives

As someone involved in organizational change since the early 1980's I believe that organizational change can and should be implemented differently to the past as all too few deliver what is expected - many changes historically bruise and harm staff relationships so countering some of the perceived benefits. This book is in the end my contribution towards managers and leaders knowledge of change in the future. Where change already is full of Disruption that is characterized with fast pace, uncertainty and lack of clear data. My recent research is included as a means that may assist change managers to monitor their changes during, rather than after the change. Dr Mat regularly writes presents and speaks on these modern topics - see www.DrMat.online for his regular free tips as well as links to Amazon to see the great endorsements for this book.
