What is it about?

The paper aims at advocating the use of lesson study for teachers to enhance their profesional learning through the reinvention of their own teaching practices. Grounded on pragmatist's framework, this paper contributes to the research community by providing new methodogical orientation for creating dimensions of teachers' professional learning.

Why is it important?

Professional learning as the reinvention of teaching involves the change of deeply ingrained habits and deeply-held beliefs. My work offers a theoretical framework of reinvention for lesson study through which teachers enhance their professional learning by undertaking pedagogical experiments.
