The life work histories of boundary crossers tells us about the way voluntary sector and government relatinoships are changing.

Why is it important?

By studying and learning from such people, we learn about the misconceptions each sector has about the other, as well as about the creativity that comes when people move out of their comfort zones. It also tells us about the blurring of boundaries between state and voluntary sector.

Perspectives

This paper is part of a larger study that also looked at these issues in Bangladesh and the Philippines.
