What is it about?

Our first idea is to say that GDP alone is not a good measure of sustainable development. We propose additional indicators from the economic, social and environmental fields in order to achieve a more comprehensive picture. Then we construct an empirical model to measure efficiency in achieving sustainable development in OECD countries. We combine a normative and an emprical approach.

Perspectives

The Catholic perspective about economic sustainability can and should be shared and discussed with persons or different beliefs and points of view. I think this paper is an opportunity to engage in this kind of conversation
