What is it about?

Logistics/supply chain management reseaerch should be read and understood by the underlying methodological approach. Three different schools are identified althoug the analytical (positivistic) approach is predominant.

If the methodology is clearly pointed out, differences in research questions and results can be understood better.

Perspectives

Better understanding of various methodological foundations can improve mutual understanding and cross fertilization of studies.
