Saying good‐bye to Mr Magoo

What is it about?

While many would argue with the assertions made in my essay, most will recognize that there is an element of truth in the experiences presented. This paper is not meant to be a cynical account by a disgruntled government employee, but rather an exhortation to making positive changes to the civil service.

Why is it important?

Change is inevitable. While governments resist change, this essay contends that they have little choice if they wish to continue to be relevant to their consituents, especially during the difficult economic times that they now encounter.
