Why is it important?

My research argues, as a conceptual paper, that the amount, speed and diversity of data and information means we must appraise (value) what information to protect and access and what do we need to dispose. The technical capability to keep is overwhelming our need to comprehend and use as a valued object. Records allow us to identify, value and access useful information and discard information not required.

Perspectives

I am currently researching a sequel that will attempt to address some of the questions discussed in my first article. I am exploring further the ideas and theories of David Snowden, Steve Bailey and Barbara Reed as applied to the Digital Age as a complex adaptive system.
