What is it about?
Learners’ dispositional attributes form the foundations for learning behaviour and therefore academic outcomes. This study describes the dispositional attributes of Masters level learners, and identifies the relationships between dispositional attributes and academic achievement at the postgraduate level. The most important learner beliefs at this level are epistemic beliefs, i.e. those about knowledge and knowing, and these have the most impact on academic achievement at the Masters level.
