What is it about?
For the first time, we 3D printed very different four polymers and their carbon fibre reinforced composites with specially designed construct, which allowed microstructure and mesostructure to be analysed in the possibly most logical way. By studying mechanical properties experimentally and theoretically, we found consistent fibre effects on mechanical anisotropy and fracture mechanisms, which are independent on materials.
