What is it about?

The 3D printing of artificial muscles has several potential future applications like medical prosthetics. In this research we show a new resin for the 3D printing of artificial muscle analogues. Using this new resin, we were able to 3D print devices that have a physical response to an electric signal.

Why is it important?

By developing this technology, we will be able to improve lives and help those with limited mobility.

If this work can help promote further study of these technologies that would be incredible for the futures of both 3D printing and smart materials.
