Why is it important?
Today, many organizations search for means to make employees happier and healthier, and thus, more productive. Play is assumed to offer a source of well-being at work, and playful practices are executed in workplaces. It is important to study what play really means as an experience and on what grounds play can be utilized in management and other workplace practices.
Perspectives
As a researcher of experiential (psychological) aspect of organizations, I wanted to carry out a meta-synthesis to explore the important but often neglected experience of play in adulthood.
