Do international investors care about ESG news?

What is it about?

News concerning environmental, social and governance aspects of a company can have an impact on stock price. In Europe ESG bad news push the price downwards, where good news increase it (even if a little less). In Usa the situation is opposite. ESG investments are perceived as "money wasted" and the stock price reacts negatively. In Asia ESG news are no news for investors.
