What is it about?

this paper provides an analysis of factors that are thought to help, or hinder, sport for development and peace projects

Why is it important?

Including factors that are thought to help, and removing those that don't is a great way to improve development or peace.

This paper is important because of the increased competition for rarefying financial resources. As such, organisations that increase "ladders" and remove "snakes" from their project design should, theoretically, be more successful, and thus, be in a better position to attract, and retain, funding.
