What is it about?

Individuals "leapfrog" at work with their influence tactics and bypass the chain of command when their direct supervisors are not receptive to their requests. We find that those with low quality relationships, who are high in Machiavellianism, who have a high need for achievement, and fear negative evaluation are more likely to leapfrog.
