What is it about?
Using automated social media messaging can damage trust in health institutions and make public health advice unclear. In this study, we look at the use of automated software and social bots in the anti-vaccine discourse on Twitter, both before and after COVID-19 vaccines were released. We do this using manual and computational analysis methods, as well as the Model of Information Laundering.
