What is it about?
Upward feedback at accounting firms is a well-established mechanism through which staff-level auditors can have their voices heard and firms receive important data on superior performance. We test what makes staff auditors most likely to participate in upward feedback opportunities, and find that they are less likely to do so when their experience with their superior is negative.
