What is it about?

This study examines how leadership teams drive digital transformation within organizations. It looks at how the knowledge and experience of CEOs, the diversity of top management teams, and the way leaders work together influence innovation. Using a new expert-coding approach, the study analyzes six major technology firms to understand how leadership structures affect outcomes such as new products, patents, and digital revenue. The findings show that innovation is strongest when leadership combines technical expertise with diversity and collaboration. The research highlights that digital transformation succeeds not only through technology but also through balanced, inclusive, and well-integrated leadership.
