Measuring Teacher Beliefs about Multicultural Education

What is it about?

This paper describes the creation of a scale intended to measure teachers' perception of the value of forming learning communities, engaging in professional development, and educating children for social justice.

Why is it important?

Teachers are often assessed based upon their actions. This paper offers a way to assess the beliefs and values that guide teachers' behaviors.
