Why is it important?
Its important in breaking the stereotypes about transactional, transformational and laissez-faire leaders and their prominent decision making approaches. Particular to the manufacturing sectors executives, the transactional leaders are observed to be rational and dependent.
Perspectives
This study is planned and executed around the idea that leaders are decision makers. The exploration confirms the associations of various leader styles and decision making styles. Interesting facts in Indian contexts are observed that put-forth contradiction to previous findings as well.
