This development of regulatory technologies (RegTech) is inevitable, and it is imperative for stakeholders to explore the issues and challenges in adopting RegTech in financial markets to ensure that its practical implementation is smooth without glitches. As such, this study has discussed the issues that could be encountered in using and adapting RegTech in financial markets, where recommendations have been proposed to overcome them.
