Why is it important?
in the era of globalization this study aims to gain better understanding on what is important for successful coaching of expatriates. Altogether 16 different factors impacting coaching success were identified. My findings show, for example, that the international background of the coach, coaching language and organizational support impact the successfulness of coaching in the challenging international context.
Perspectives
This study revealed that expatriate coaching occurs often in isolation in a systemic and cultural sense. In order to get better results, coaching programs should be integrated by other systems of the organization and supported by them.
