What is it about?
We investigated how internal and external locus of control relate to entrepreneurial intentions from the perspective of a developing country, Ghana. We further examined whether gender interferes the relationship between locus of control and entrepreneurial intentions.

Why is it important?
This study highlights the fact that individuals are inspired to become entrepreneurs by external factors than their traits. Further, irrespective of one's gender (male or female), his/her entrepreneurial intention is more likely to be influenced by external locus of control.
