What is it about?

The implementation of improved agricultural technology has emerged as a crucial alternative for addressing rural farmer poverty and ensuring food security in Sub-Saharan Africa. Nevertheless, Ghanaian farmers persist in their adoption of agricultural technology, albeit at a very sluggish pace, resulting in modest improvements in productivity. We show the role of people around the farmers, friends and extension officers, to increase acceptance and use of agricultural technology.
