What is it about?
The theoretical and practical contribution of the present study lies in the expansion of the UTAUT2 model by adding neoteric predictors, which are technological innovativeness and information quality. This study provides insights and further understanding of the effect of predictors (original and additive) on users ’ acceptance of the e-learning management system.

Why is it important?
The findings of the current study enable decision-makers and those interested in developing Moodle-LMS to obtain in-depth information on these indicators, especially in the Iraqi higher education environment.
Perspectives
The adoption of LMS in higher education varies from one country/region to another. For the Middle East, Arab universities have registered a low level of e-learning adoption, and this scenario is not different in Iraqi universities. Iraq has faced severe political and military conflicts in the past three decades, and it is not surprising that it was the last country in the Arab region to adopt LMS in higher education. From the practical perspective to the special case of the University of Kufa, the results of this study are worthwhile not only for teachers and students but also for those involved in the development of LMS. These results will lead to the identity fi cation of critical factors for the successful implementation of the LMS-Moodle system.
