Does the origin matter? The effects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions in France

What is it about?

Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions (CBM&As) projects are rapidly increasing and coming from more heterogeneous countries. We analyze the impact of CBM&As on French target firms' productivity, intangible-asset investment, employment and wages. We show that impact differs depending on the nationality of the investing multinational.
