What is it about?

We explored the value of arts-based therapy for refugee children and families in three focus groups with clinicians, professors, and community services providers. Participants described arts-based therapies as highly valuable and non-stigmatizing. Culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy programs can effectively remove barriers to care and address many of the challenges facing refugee children and families.
