What is it about?

We explore sectoral unemployment levels, labour market tightness, and matching efficiency as Life Satisfaction determinants. We find that labour market tightness is relevant to the LS of workers and that labour market matching efficiency affects the LS of workers differently when they are less satisfied with their job and in temporary employment. Results give support interventions aimed at activating demand for labour and improving match-making technologies.
