What is it about?

Organizational agility is particularly difficult to achieve in subsidiaries of multinational corporations (MNCs) abroad. Our findings reveal that hierarchies function as hybrid institutions, blending formal and informal elements dynamically shaped by societal norms, which can result in both functional and dysfunctional outcomes affecting organizational agility.
