What is it about?

This article focuses on the process between taking a decision (goal setting) and acting to achieve that goal of starting a venture (becoming an entrepreneur). By integrating two different decision theories (action phase theory and the theory of planned behaviour), this article analyses how the strength of the goal is determined and changes as the person advances the process. Initially, the feeling of being able to do it is most important for the person to set the goal and maintain its priority. In turn, when specific actions are initiated, the motivation and expected outcomes become more important.
