What is it about?

This study investigates how social enterprises (SEs) in Greece perform based on organizational social capital (OSC) and social entrepreneurship orientation (SEO). The researchers used a theoretical framework and collected data from 345 Greek SEs to analyze the relationship between OSC, SEO, and SEs' social and economic performance. The findings show that OSC has a positive impact on SEs' social and economic performance, and SEO only affects the relationship between OSC and SEs' social performance. This research provides valuable insights for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners interested in social entrepreneurship by emphasizing the importance of OSC and SEO. The study is unique in integrating several theoretical frameworks and focusing on the Greek context.
