The development of inter-regional and intra-regional cooperation frameworks for multi-hazard early warning systems in South and South-East Asia

What is it about?

Events such as the 2004 Tsunami highlighted the transboundary nature of coastal hazard and the importance of regional cooperation. We conducted international workshops with experts from different countries in Asia to detemine key actions. On the basis of these actions, we propose a framework for inter and intra regional cooperation at different scales.
