What is it about?
How we perceive a conflict situation and a conflict partner impacts how we feel and how we act in a conflict situation. We show that perceiving that a social norm is violated, that there is a responsibility for this violation by the other conflict party, being negatively impacted by the violation, and having no reasonable justification for the action can increase feelings of indignation, as well as warning others about and punishing the conflict partner.
