Why is it important?
In our complex world, characterized by increasing inequalities, environmental degradation, and economic decline, embracing the ethics of care approach may offer new approaches to economic and social life by acknowledging diverse perspectives from multiple stakeholders and encouraging caring actions that foster mutual benefits and human flourishing. We offer practical recommendations for organizations that wish to adopt ethics of care in their human resource practices.
Perspectives
It is inspiring to witness how some organizations bring their values to life in their internal and external actions, and how employees, the community, and the organization itself benefit from it. I hope the example in this case study serves as inspiration to others and prompts the debate about more caring and conscious ways of doing business.
