What is it about?
What is green project management and what does it cover? This paper examines green project management from Hong Kong's engineering and construction professional employees' perspective. It delineates two broad categories of green project management attributes, namely organization and process attributes.

Why is it important?
Green project management means more than recycling materials and reducing the pollutants a project generates. Our findings show that green project management has four distinct factors: “Management Commitment,” “Green Technologies and Processes,” “Green Partnerships” and “External Communication.” Organizations should understand the complexity of green project management and implement it from a holistic perspective.
Perspectives
Understanding green project management is vital to create a sustainable and smart city. It is a great pleasure that my co-author and I can contribute to a deeper understanding on this important topic. We hope that our findings can shed light about the proper definition of 'green' project management (but not a lip service nor just an aspiration).
