What is it about?
Central School of Speech and Drama is a specialist theatre college in north London. The move to a new library in the summer of 1997 gave us the space and the network to upgrade from our old system. The article describes how we chose Inheritance Systems Heritage IV and some of the useful facilities the system offers.

Why is it important?
At the time of writing this was a useful case study for other librarians thinking about installing Heritage IV, but also for anyone planning to change library systems, especially in a small college setting.
Perspectives
This was a successful project which made the library easier to operate, saved money which was then spent on online resources and freed staff from form filing to focus on better customer service to the students.
