What is it about?
No one sector is responsible for reducing systemic disaster risk. National leadership and multi-sector co-ordination are important enablers. A practical example is offered of a nation actively learning to navigate governance challenges, build new knowledge and implement strategies to reduce complex, systemic risks and engage all sectors in developing transformational disaster risk reduction interventions and strategies.
