What is it about?
This study explores how the COVID-19 pandemic transformed traditional mentorship roles in K-12 education. It reveals that new teachers, often more tech-savvy, began supporting their veteran mentors during the shift to virtual teaching, reversing traditional dynamics. This unexpected role reversal, called informal reverse mentoring, offers lessons for fostering adaptability and collaboration in organizations. By learning from these changes, schools and other organizations can create more flexible and inclusive mentorship programs that thrive during crises.
