What is it about?
We demonstrate how the personal characteristics of CEOs and board members relate to the ESG performance of Finnish private companies. Our results reveal that their educational qualifications has a positive impact on their firms' ESG performance, while their age and income indicate an adverse impact on their firms’ total ESG performance.
