What is it about?

Our article shows that some large countries, such as the Russian Federation, possess enough cultural diversity for their administrative regions to exhibit cultural patterns similar to those that emerge from comparisons of nations. We provide criteria for deciding if the regions of any country can be considered and used as units of cross-cultural analysis.
