What is it about?
The relationship between cultural novelty and cross-cultural adjustment of expatriates is often assumed negative and linear. We proposed and tested a curvilinear relation, while low to moderate level of cultural novelty reduces general adjustment, while moderate to level high level of cultural novelty increases general adjustment.
