What is it about?
In spite of the prevailing models in the literature, innovation can be strongly linked with tradition and territorial identity in food sector. This requires specific capacilty of managing this complex link. Family firms, that represent a huge number of firms in European countries, have a high specificity on this, showing high levels of competitiveness.
