What is it about?
The built environment has been shown to impact the learning of autistic children. This study assesses that impact through a survey of teachers and staff at a K-12 public charter school for children on the autism spectrum. It shows that by changing classroom arrangements, providing spaces for students to retreat to, and providing quieter spaces children show improvement in issues related to their learning.
