What is it about?
Having a child on the autism spectrum in India can attract stigma and heighten feelings of family stress. However, little is known about the experiences of British Indians with autistic children. Our study suggests that stigmatising views are prevalent in the British Indian community and that stress and lack of support are higher than in the white British community.
