Fuel savings on missed approach through aircraft reinjection

What is it about?

Given the international political situation, fuel economy is a top priority in all areas. Te goal of this paper is to study how to reduce fuel consumption associated to aircraft missed approaches, considering a new Aircraft Reinjection System (ARS) previously proposed. Specifically, the main contribution of this work is a comparative analysis with standard aircraft miss approach procedures in terms of fuel consumption.
