China is rich in marine resources. With the development of economy and the improvement of engineering technology, the use of marine engineering structural steel is becoming more and more widely. Seawater is a corrosive medium containing a variety of salts. The long-term service of engineering structural steel in seawater has a great risk of corrosion damage. At present, for the corrosion of Q390c engineering structural steel used in the steel shell of deep and medium channel immersed tunnel in seawater environment, there are few projects and research that can be used for reference at home and abroad. Therefore, the research reveals the corrosion mechanism and corrosion development law of the outer wall of steel shell in marine environment, which is of great significance to ensure the long-life durability of immersed tunnel.
