Why is it important?

This book links current real world events through a lens of management and leadership in a context of change. this is important to business students and professionals a like. The book has practical as well as theoretical elements that have been entwined with modern research around organizational change. This book will be useful to the experienced manager as well as the student.

Perspectives

As someone involved in organizational change since the early 1980's I believe that organizational change can and should be implemented differently to the past as all too few deliver what is expected - many changes historically bruise and harm staff relationships so countering some of the perceived benefits. This book is in the end my contribution towards managers and leaders knowledge of change in the future. Where change already is full of Disruption that is characterized with fast pace, uncertainty and lack of clear data. My recent research is included as a means that may assist change managers to monitor their changes during, rather than after the change.
